ArcInfo Export Format Converter

Much of the free geographic data available on the internet comes in the form of ArcInfo export format files (*.e00). This utility will convert these files into a GeoMedia Access warehouse. Both single and double precision uncompressed E00 files are supported. The tool is written in Visual C++/MFC and is provided as a standalone exe-file. The Digital Chart of the World Data Server is a excellent source of free data. From this site you can download data for any part of the world. We have created a warehouse template that defines the coordinate system that is used for the DCW data. Download the DCW warehouse template now!

Installation

1. Download the ArcInfo Export Format Converter
2. Create a new folder where you want to install the tool and unzip the contents of the downloaded zip file into the new folder
3. Create new shortcut to the file named e00tofm0.exe in your GeoMedia start menu.
4. If you plan to download DCW data we recommend that you download the DCW warehouse template and unzip it into the \templates\warehouses directory located in the folder where GeoMedia is installed on your computer
